The Devil

The Devil is not a humbug, invented by religious people. It is real, and powerful indeed. It is always there and ready to tempt you with its sugar coated poison. It comes to you through your bad thoughts: If you choose to act on them the Devil will manifest itself through you. When you choose to act on your good thoughts, you are doing God’s work. The consequences of your freedom to choose between Good and Evil, is far better than no choice at all. When you try to resist the bad thoughts, you will come face-to-face with the Devil. Then and only then you shall realize just how powerful and real the Devil is. When someone hurts you, and you hurt them back, you have acted on your bad thoughts as did the other person. This is how hatred and wars start, and go on and on.

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders.
