وَلَوْwalawAnd ifيُعَجِّلُyuʿajjiluhastensاللّٰهُl-lahu(by) Allahلِلنَّاسِlilnnāsifor the mankindالشَّرَّl-sharathe evilاسْتِعْجَالَهُمْis'tiʿ'jālahum(as) He hastens for themبِالْخَيْرِbil-khayrithe goodلَقُضِيَlaquḍiyasurely, would have been decreedاِلَيْهِمْilayhimfor themاَجَلُهُمْۜajaluhumtheir termفَنَذَرُfanadharuBut We leaveالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoلَاlā(do) notيَرْجُونَyarjūnaexpectلِقَٓاءَنَاliqāanāthe meeting with Usف۪يfīinطُغْيَانِهِمْṭugh'yānihimtheir transgressionيَعْمَهُونَyaʿmahūnawandering blindlyIf God were to hasten for people the evil as they desire the hastening of good for them, then they would have been ruined. We thus leave those who do not wish to meet Us wandering in their transgression.
