So, when they went with him they had agreed to place him at the bottom of the well. We inspired him: "You will inform them of this act of theirs while they will not expect it."

[12:15] Consensus (ijma) has been accepted by those who deserted the Quran to be one of the main authorities besides and even above the Quran. As the usage of hadith and sunna in the Quran is prophetic (6:112-116; 7:185; 8:38; 12:111; 33:38; 45:6), the usage of this word too is prophetic. The word ijma and ijtima are mentioned six times in the Quran and, in all cases, are used to depict the conspiracy of unappreciative opponents of God's message (10:71; 12:102; 20:64; 17:88; 22:73).
