Surah 12 · Verse 24

وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyهَمَّتْhammatshe did desireبِه۪ۗbihihimوَهَمَّwahammaand he would have desiredبِهَاۚbihāherلَوْلَٓاlawlāif notاَنْanthatرَاٰraāhe sawبُرْهَانَbur'hānathe proofرَبِّه۪ۜrabbihi(of) his LordكَذٰلِكَkadhālikaThusلِنَصْرِفَlinaṣrifathat We might avertعَنْهُʿanhufrom himالسُّٓوءَl-sūathe evilوَالْفَحْشَٓاءَۜwal-faḥshāaand the immoralityاِنَّهُinnahuIndeed, heمِنْmin(was) ofعِبَادِنَاʿibādināOur slavesالْمُخْلَص۪ينَl-mukh'laṣīnathe sincere
