Surah 12 · Verse 31

فَلَمَّاfalammāSo whenسَمِعَتْsamiʿatshe heardبِمَكْرِهِنَّbimakrihinnaof their schemingاَرْسَلَتْarsalatshe sentاِلَيْهِنَّilayhinnafor themوَاَعْتَدَتْwa-aʿtadatand she preparedلَهُنَّlahunnafor themمُتَّكَـٔاًmuttaka-ana banquetوَاٰتَتْwaātatand she gaveكُلَّkullaeachوَاحِدَةٍwāḥidatinoneمِنْهُنَّmin'hunnaof themسِكّ۪يناًsikkīnana knifeوَقَالَتِwaqālatiand she saidاخْرُجْukh'rujCome outعَلَيْهِنَّۚʿalayhinnabefore themفَلَمَّاfalammāThen whenرَاَيْنَهُٓra-aynahuthey saw himاَكْبَرْنَهُakbarnahuthey greatly admired himوَقَطَّعْنَwaqaṭṭaʿnaand cutاَيْدِيَهُنَّaydiyahunnatheir handsوَقُلْنَwaqul'nathey saidحَاشَḥāshaForbidلِلّٰهِlillahiAllahمَاmānotهٰذَاhādhā(is) thisبَشَراًۜbasharana manاِنْinnotهٰذَٓاhādhā(is) thisاِلَّاillābutمَلَكٌmalakunan angelكَر۪يمٌkarīmunnoble
