[12:83] Reading the father's answer immediately after reading the recommended message of the big brother is an intriguing and economic style of narrating a story. Through this technique, the repetition of what the message of the big brother in verses 81-82 was, and an introductory statement such as "When they returned to Palestine they reported their situation according to what the recommendation of their older brother was," are avoided. The conversation among the brothers while they were in Egypt, with the 83rd verse, suddenly jumps over three dimensions (place, time, and context) and transforms into a conversation between them and their father in Palestine.
