Surah 13 · Verse 14

لَهُlahuTo Himدَعْوَةُdaʿwatu(is) supplicationالْحَقِّۜl-ḥaqi(of) the truthوَالَّذ۪ينَwa-alladhīnaAnd those whomيَدْعُونَyadʿūnathey invokeمِنْminbesides Himدُونِه۪dūnihibesides Himلَاlānotيَسْتَج۪يبُونَyastajībūnathey respondلَهُمْlahumto themبِشَيْءٍbishayinwith a thingاِلَّاillāexceptكَبَاسِطِkabāsiṭilike one who stretchesكَفَّيْهِkaffayhihis handsاِلَىilātowardsالْمَٓاءِl-māiwaterلِيَبْلُغَliyablughato reachفَاهُfāhuhis mouthوَمَاwamābut notهُوَhuwaitبِبَالِغِه۪ۜbibālighihireaches itوَمَاwamāAnd notدُعَٓاءُduʿāu(is) the supplicationالْكَافِر۪ينَl-kāfirīna(of) the disbelieversاِلَّاillābutف۪يfīinضَلَالٍḍalālinerror
