Surah 14 · Verse 6

وَاِذْwa-idhAnd whenقَالَqālasaidمُوسٰىmūsāMusaلِقَوْمِهِliqawmihito his peopleاذْكُرُواudh'kurūRememberنِعْمَةَniʿ'mata(the) Favor of Allahاللّٰهِl-lahi(the) Favor of Allahعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumupon youاِذْidhwhenاَنْجٰيكُمْanjākumHe saved youمِنْminfromاٰلِāli(the) peopleفِرْعَوْنَfir'ʿawna(of) Firaunيَسُومُونَكُمْyasūmūnakumthey were afflicting youسُٓوءَsūa(with) evilالْعَذَابِl-ʿadhābitormentوَيُذَبِّحُونَwayudhabbiḥūnaand were slaughteringاَبْنَٓاءَكُمْabnāakumyour sonsوَيَسْتَحْيُونَwayastaḥyūnaand letting liveنِسَٓاءَكُمْۜnisāakumyour womenوَف۪يwafīAnd inذٰلِكُمْdhālikumthatبَلَٓاءٌbalāon(was) a trialمِنْminfromرَبِّكُمْrabbikumyour Lordعَظ۪يمٌ۟ʿaẓīmungreat
