Surah 16 · Verse 107

ذٰلِكَdhālikaThat (is)بِاَنَّهُمُbi-annahumubecauseاسْتَحَبُّواis'taḥabbūthey preferredالْحَيٰوةَl-ḥayatathe lifeالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldعَلَىʿalāoverالْاٰخِرَةِۙl-ākhiratithe Hereafterوَاَنَّwa-annaand thatاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahلَاlā(does) notيَهْدِيyahdīguideالْقَوْمَl-qawmathe peopleالْكَافِر۪ينَl-kāfirīnathe disbelievers
