So eat from what God has provided for you, what is good and lawful, and thank the blessings of God, if it is indeed He whom you serve.

[16:114] Those who serve God alone do not fabricate religious prohibitions. But, those who set up prophets, messengers, popes, rabis, saints, mullahs, sheiks, imams, clerics, and muftis to God, accept and follow many prohibitions falsely attributed to God and His messenger. Thus, they deprive themselves and others from many blessings of God. See 6:145-150 and 42:21.
