Surah 16 · Verse 115

اِنَّمَاinnamāOnlyحَرَّمَḥarramaHe has forbiddenعَلَيْكُمُʿalaykumuto youالْمَيْتَةَl-maytatathe dead animalوَالدَّمَwal-damaand the bloodوَلَحْمَwalaḥmaand the fleshالْخِنْز۪يرِl-khinzīri(of) the swineوَمَٓاwamāand whatاُهِلَّuhillahas been dedicatedلِغَيْرِlighayrito other (than)اللّٰهِl-lahiAllahبِه۪ۚbihi[with it]فَمَنِfamaniBut (if) oneاضْطُرَّuḍ'ṭurra(is) forcedغَيْرَghayrawithout (being)بَاغٍbāghindisobedientوَلَاwalāand notعَادٍʿādina transgressorفَاِنَّfa-innathen indeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahغَفُورٌghafūrun(is) Oft-Forgivingرَح۪يمٌraḥīmunMost Merciful
