Surah 16 · Verse 116

وَلَاwalāAnd (do) notتَقُولُواtaqūlūsayلِمَاlimāfor that whichتَصِفُtaṣifuassertاَلْسِنَتُكُمُalsinatukumuyour tonguesالْكَذِبَl-kadhibathe lieهٰذَاhādhāThisحَلَالٌḥalālun(is) lawfulوَهٰذَاwahādhāand thisحَرَامٌḥarāmun(is) forbiddenلِتَفْتَرُواlitaftarūso that you inventعَلَىʿalāaboutاللّٰهِl-lahiAllahالْكَذِبَۜl-kadhibathe lieاِنَّinnaIndeedالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoيَفْتَرُونَyaftarūnainventعَلَىʿalāaboutاللّٰهِl-lahiAllahالْكَذِبَl-kadhibathe lieلَاlāthey will not succeedيُفْلِحُونَۜyuf'liḥūnathey will not succeed
