Surah 16 · Verse 36

وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainlyبَعَثْنَاbaʿathnāWe sentف۪يfīintoكُلِّkullieveryاُمَّةٍummatinnationرَسُولاًrasūlana Messengerاَنِanithatاعْبُدُواuʿ'budūWorshipاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahوَاجْتَنِبُواwa-ij'tanibūand avoidالطَّاغُوتَۚl-ṭāghūtathe false deitiesفَمِنْهُمْfamin'humThen among themمَنْman(were some) whomهَدَىhadāAllah guidedاللّٰهُl-lahuAllah guidedوَمِنْهُمْwamin'humand among themمَنْman(were) someحَقَّتْḥaqqatwas justifiedعَلَيْهِʿalayhion themالضَّلَالَةُۜl-ḍalālatuthe strayingفَس۪يرُواfasīrūSo travelفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthفَانْظُرُواfa-unẓurūand seeكَيْفَkayfahowكَانَkānawasعَاقِبَةُʿāqibatuthe endالْمُكَذِّب۪ينَl-mukadhibīna(of) the deniers
