وَاِذَاwa-idhāAnd whenرَاَraā(will) seeالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoاَشْرَكُواashrakūassociated partners with Allahشُرَكَٓاءَهُمْshurakāahumtheir partnersقَالُواqālūThey will sayرَبَّـنَاrabbanāOur Lordهٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِhāulāitheseشُرَكَٓاؤُ۬نَاshurakāunā(are) our partnersالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whomكُنَّاkunnāwe used toنَدْعُواnadʿūinvokeمِنْminbesides Youدُونِكَۚdūnikabesides Youفَاَلْقَوْاfa-alqawBut they (will) throw backاِلَيْهِمُilayhimuat themالْقَوْلَl-qawla(their) wordاِنَّكُمْinnakumIndeed, youلَكَاذِبُونَۚlakādhibūna(are) surely liarsWhen those who set up partners saw the partners they made, they said, "Our Lord, these are our partners that we used to call upon besides You."
