Surah 17 · Verse 12

وَجَعَلْنَاwajaʿalnāAnd We have madeالَّيْلَal-laylathe nightوَالنَّهَارَwal-nahāraand the dayاٰيَتَيْنِāyatayni(as) two signsفَمَحَوْنَٓاfamaḥawnāThen We erasedاٰيَةَāyata(the) signالَّيْلِal-layli(of) the nightوَجَعَلْـنَٓاwajaʿalnāand We madeاٰيَةَāyata(the) signالنَّهَارِl-nahāri(of) the dayمُبْصِرَةًmub'ṣiratanvisibleلِتَبْتَغُواlitabtaghūthat you may seekفَضْلاًfaḍlanbountyمِنْminfromرَبِّكُمْrabbikumyour Lordوَلِتَعْلَمُواwalitaʿlamūand that you may knowعَدَدَʿadada(the) numberالسِّن۪ينَl-sinīna(of) the yearsوَالْحِسَابَۜwal-ḥisābaand the accountوَكُلَّwakullaAnd everyشَيْءٍshayinthingفَصَّلْنَاهُfaṣṣalnāhuWe have explained itتَفْص۪يلاًtafṣīlan(in) detail
