فَاِذَاfa-idhāSo whenجَٓاءَjāacameوَعْدُwaʿdu(the) promiseاُو۫لٰيهُمَاūlāhumā(for) the first of the twoبَعَثْنَاbaʿathnāWe raisedعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumagainst youعِبَاداًʿibādanservantsلَنَٓاlanāof Oursاُو۬ل۪يulīthose of great military mightبَأْسٍbasinthose of great military mightشَد۪يدٍshadīdinthose of great military mightفَجَاسُواfajāsūand they enteredخِلَالَkhilālathe inner most partالدِّيَارِۜl-diyāri(of) the homesوَكَانَwakānaand (it) wasوَعْداًwaʿdana promiseمَفْعُولاًmafʿūlanfulfilledSo, when the promise of the first one comes to pass, We would send against you servants of Ours who are very powerful, thus they managed to breach your very homes, and this was a promise which has come to pass.
