Surah 18 · Verse 57

وَمَنْwamanAnd whoاَظْلَمُaẓlamu(is) more wrongمِمَّنْmimmanthan (he) whoذُكِّرَdhukkirais remindedبِاٰيَاتِbiāyātiof the Versesرَبِّه۪rabbihi(of) his Lordفَاَعْرَضَfa-aʿraḍabut turns awayعَنْهَاʿanhāfrom themوَنَسِيَwanasiyaand forgetsمَاmāwhatقَدَّمَتْqaddamathave sent forthيَدَاهُۜyadāhuhis handsاِنَّاinnāIndeed, Weجَعَلْنَاjaʿalnā[We] have placedعَلٰىʿalāoverقُلُوبِهِمْqulūbihimtheir heartsاَكِنَّةًakinnatancoveringsاَنْanlestيَفْقَهُوهُyafqahūhuthey understand itوَف۪ٓيwafīand inاٰذَانِهِمْādhānihimtheir earsوَقْراًۜwaqran(is) deafnessوَاِنْwa-inAnd ifتَدْعُهُمْtadʿuhumyou call themاِلَىilātoالْهُدٰىl-hudāthe guidanceفَلَنْfalanthen neverيَهْتَدُٓواyahtadūthey will be guidedاِذاًidhanthenاَبَداًabadanever
