Surah 18 · Verse 77

فَانْطَلَقَا۠fa-inṭalaqāSo they set outحَتّٰٓىḥattāuntilاِذَٓاidhāwhenاَتَيَٓاatayāthey cameاَهْلَahla(to the) peopleقَرْيَةٍۨqaryatin(of) a townاسْتَطْعَمَٓاis'taṭʿamāthey asked for foodاَهْلَهَاahlahā(from) its peopleفَاَبَوْاfa-abawbut they refusedاَنْantoيُضَيِّفُوهُمَاyuḍayyifūhumāoffer them hospitalityفَوَجَدَاfawajadāThen they foundف۪يهَاfīhāin itجِدَاراًjidārana wallيُر۪يدُyurīdu(that) want(ed)اَنْantoيَنْقَضَّyanqaḍḍacollapseفَاَقَامَهُۜfa-aqāmahuso he set it straightقَالَqālaHe saidلَوْlawIfشِئْتَshi'tayou wishedلَتَّخَذْتَlattakhadhtasurely you (could) have takenعَلَيْهِʿalayhifor itاَجْراًajrana payment
