[19:46] Polytheist (mushrik) leaders mentioned in the Quran are belligerent and aggressive characters. Abraham's father excommunicated Abraham and his people tried to kill him; Pharaoh and his people wished to kill Moses, Jews Jesus, Abu Jahl and his followers Muhammed. The Quran informs us that many messengers were killed by mushriks. Mushrik leaders who know well that their doctrine cannot survive the scrutiny of thinking and questioning minds, have always waged war and terror against messengers of God who invited to reason, questioned traditions and superstitions, and promoted peaceful coexistence. It is no coincidence that similar authoritarian, aggressive, warmongering characteristics are also common among modern polytheists, regardless of their religion.
