Surah 2 · Verse 204

وَمِنَwaminaAnd ofالنَّاسِl-nāsithe peopleمَنْman(is the one) whoيُعْجِبُكَyuʿ'jibukapleases youقَوْلُهُqawluhu(with) his speechفِيfīinالْحَيٰوةِl-ḥayatithe lifeالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldوَيُشْهِدُwayush'hiduand he calls to witnessاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahعَلٰىʿalāonمَاmāwhatف۪يfī(is) inقَلْبِه۪ۙqalbihihis heartوَهُوَwahuwaand heاَلَدُّaladdu(is) the most quarrelsomeالْخِصَامِl-khiṣāmi(of) opponents
