Surah 2 · Verse 220

فِيfīConcerningالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yāthe worldوَالْاٰخِرَةِۜwal-ākhiratiand the HereafterوَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَwayasalūnakaThey ask youعَنِʿaniaboutالْيَتَامٰىۜl-yatāmāthe orphansقُلْqulSayاِصْلَاحٌiṣ'lāḥunSetting right (their affairs)لَهُمْlahumfor themخَيْرٌۜkhayrun(is) bestوَاِنْwa-inAnd ifتُخَالِطُوهُمْtukhāliṭūhumyou associate with themفَاِخْوَانُكُمْۜfa-ikh'wānukumthen they (are) your brothersوَاللّٰهُwal-lahuAnd Allahيَعْلَمُyaʿlamuknowsالْمُفْسِدَl-muf'sidathe corrupterمِنَminafromالْمُصْلِحِۜl-muṣ'liḥithe amenderوَلَوْwalawAnd ifشَٓاءَshāa(had) willedاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahلَاَعْنَتَكُمْۜla-aʿnatakumsurely He (could have) put you in difficultiesاِنَّinnaIndeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahعَز۪يزٌʿazīzun(is) All-Mightyحَك۪يمٌḥakīmunAll-Wise
