Surah 2 · Verse 255

اَللّٰهُal-lahuAllahلَٓاlā(there is) noاِلٰهَilāhaGodاِلَّاillāexceptهُوَۚhuwaHimاَلْحَيُّl-ḥayuthe Ever-Livingالْقَيُّومُۚl-qayūmuthe Sustainer of all that existsلَاlāNotتَأْخُذُهُtakhudhuhuovertakes Himسِنَةٌsinatunslumberوَلَاwalā[and] notنَوْمٌۜnawmunsleepلَهُlahuTo Him (belongs)مَاmāwhat(ever)فِيfī(is) inالسَّمٰوَاتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَمَاwamāand what(ever)فِيfī(is) inالْاَرْضِۜl-arḍithe earthمَنْmanWhoذَاdhā(is) the oneالَّذ۪يalladhīwhoيَشْفَعُyashfaʿucan intercedeعِنْدَهُٓʿindahuwith Himاِلَّاillāexceptبِاِذْنِه۪ۜbi-idh'nihiby His permissionيَعْلَمُyaʿlamuHe knowsمَاmāwhatبَيْنَbayna(is)اَيْد۪يهِمْaydīhimbefore themوَمَاwamāand whatخَلْفَهُمْۚkhalfahum(is) behind themوَلَاwalāAnd notيُح۪يطُونَyuḥīṭūnathey encompassبِشَيْءٍbishayinanythingمِنْminofعِلْمِه۪ٓʿil'mihiHis Knowledgeاِلَّاillāexceptبِمَاbimā[of] whatشَٓاءَۚshāaHe willedوَسِعَwasiʿaExtendsكُرْسِيُّهُkur'siyyuhuHis Seatالسَّمٰوَاتِl-samāwāti(to) the heavensوَالْاَرْضَۚwal-arḍaand the earthوَلَاwalāAnd notيَؤُ۫دُهُyaūduhutires Himحِفْظُهُمَاۚḥif'ẓuhumā(the) guarding of both of themوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heالْعَلِيُّl-ʿaliyu(is) the Most Highالْعَظ۪يمُl-ʿaẓīmuthe Most Great
