مَثَلُmathaluExampleالَّذ۪ينَalladhīna(of) those whoيُنْفِقُونَyunfiqūnaspendاَمْوَالَهُمْamwālahumtheir wealthف۪يfīinسَب۪يلِsabīli(the) wayاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahكَمَثَلِkamathali(is) likeحَبَّةٍḥabbatina grainاَنْبَتَتْanbatatwhich growsسَبْعَsabʿasevenسَنَابِلَsanābilaearsف۪يfīinكُلِّkullieachسُنْبُلَةٍsunbulatinearمِائَةُmi-atuhundredحَبَّةٍۜḥabbatingrain(s)وَاللّٰهُwal-lahuAnd Allahيُضَاعِفُyuḍāʿifugives manifoldلِمَنْlimanto whomيَشَٓاءُۜyashāuHe willsوَاللّٰهُwal-lahuAnd Allahوَاسِعٌwāsiʿun(is) All-Encompassingعَل۪يمٌʿalīmunAll-KnowingThe example of those who spend their money in the cause of God is like a seed that sprouts forth seven pods, in each pod there is one hundred seeds; and God multiplies for whomever He chooses, and God is Encompassing, Knowledgeable.
