Surah 2 · Verse 272

لَيْسَlaysaNotعَلَيْكَʿalaykaon youهُدٰيهُمْhudāhum(is) their guidanceوَلٰكِنَّwalākinna[and] butاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahيَهْد۪يyahdīguidesمَنْmanwhomيَشَٓاءُۜyashāuHe willsوَمَاwamāAnd whateverتُنْفِقُواtunfiqūyou spendمِنْminofخَيْرٍkhayringoodفَلِاَنْفُسِكُمْۜfali-anfusikumthen it is for yourselfوَمَاwamāand notتُنْفِقُونَtunfiqūnayou spendاِلَّاillāexceptابْتِغَٓاءَib'tighāaseekingوَجْهِwajhi(the) faceاللّٰهِۜl-lahi(of) AllahوَمَاwamāAnd whateverتُنْفِقُواtunfiqūyou spendمِنْminofخَيْرٍkhayringoodيُوَفَّyuwaffawill be repaid in fullاِلَيْكُمْilaykumto youوَاَنْتُمْwa-antumand youلَاlā(will) notتُظْلَمُونَtuẓ'lamūnabe wronged
