[2:4] Previous scriptures still contain the divine message even though they were intentionally or unintentionally tampered by humans during the process of oral transmission, collection, writing, duplication, translations, translations of translations, revisions and re-revisions of the translations. Both the Torah (the Old Testament) and Injeel (Gospels) promote monotheism (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Mark 12:29-30).
