ثُمَّthummaThenعَفَوْنَاʿafawnāWe forgaveعَنْكُمْʿankumyouمِنْminfromبَعْدِbaʿdiafterذٰلِكَdhālikathatلَعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you mayتَشْكُرُونَtashkurūna(be) gratefulThen We forgave you after so that perhaps you would be thankful.
