وَاِذْwa-idhAnd whenقُلْنَاqul'nāWe saidادْخُلُواud'khulūEnterهٰذِهِhādhihithisالْقَرْيَةَl-qaryatatownفَكُلُواfakulūthen eatمِنْهَاmin'hāfromحَيْثُḥaythuwhereverشِئْتُمْshi'tumyou wish[ed]رَغَداًraghadanabundantlyوَادْخُلُواwa-ud'khulūand enterالْبَابَl-bābathe gateسُجَّداًsujjadanprostratingوَقُولُواwaqūlūAnd sayحِطَّةٌḥiṭṭatunRepentanceنَغْفِرْnaghfirWe will forgiveلَكُمْlakumfor youخَطَايَاكُمْۜkhaṭāyākumyour sinsوَسَنَز۪يدُwasanazīduAnd We will increaseالْمُحْسِن۪ينَl-muḥ'sinīnathe good-doers (in reward)We said, "Enter this town, and eat from it as plentifully as you wish; and enter the gate humbly, and talk amicably, We will then forgive your mistakes, and We will increase for the good-doers."
