Surah 2 · Verse 90

بِئْسَمَاbi'samāEvil (is) thatاشْتَرَوْاish'taraw(for) which they have soldبِه۪ٓbihiwithاَنْفُسَهُمْanfusahumthemselvesاَنْanthatيَكْفُرُواyakfurūthey disbelieveبِمَٓاbimāin whatاَنْزَلَanzalahas revealedاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahبَغْياًbaghyangrudgingاَنْanthatيُنَزِّلَyunazzilasends downاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahمِنْminofفَضْلِه۪faḍlihiHis GraceعَلٰىʿalāonمَنْmanwhomيَشَٓاءُyashāuHe willsمِنْminfromعِبَادِه۪ۚʿibādihiHis servantsفَبَٓاؤُ۫fabāūSo they have drawn (on themselves)بِغَضَبٍbighaḍabinwrathعَلٰىʿalāuponغَضَبٍۜghaḍabinwrathوَلِلْكَافِر۪ينَwalil'kāfirīnaAnd for the disbelieversعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentمُه۪ينٌmuhīnunhumiliating
