We made them leaders who guide by Our command, and We inspired them to do good work and hold the contact prayer and contribute towards betterment, and they were in service to Us.

[21:73] During the revelation of the Quran, with some distortions, the rituals and duties revealed to Abraham were known knowledge. The religious people in Mecca had the knowledge of fasting, sala, zaka, and pilgrimage, since the Quran uses the words in their language. See 2:128; 16:123; 22:78.
