Surah 21 · Verse 87

The one with N, when he went off in anger, and he thought that We would not be able to take him. Then he called out in the darkness: "There is no god but You! Glory to You, I was of the wicked!"

Translation endnotes

[21:87] Yunus' (Jonah) name occurs in the Quran four times as Jonah. However, in the chapter that starts with the letter N or number 50, Jonah is referred to by the expression Sahib ul-Hut, that is, The Companion of the Fish (68:48). Referring to a messenger who has the letter N in his name, with an expression that does not contain the letter N, in a chapter where the letter N is counted (133 = 19 x 7), is a part of the Quran's mathematical system. Indeed, a unique expression in verse 21:87 supports this implied message.
