حُنَفَٓاءَḥunafāaBeing uprightلِلّٰهِlillahito Allahغَيْرَghayranotمُشْرِك۪ينَmush'rikīnaassociating partnersبِه۪ۜbihiwith HimوَمَنْwamanAnd whoeverيُشْرِكْyush'rikassociates partnersبِاللّٰهِbil-lahiwith Allahفَكَاَنَّمَاfaka-annamāthen (it is) as thoughخَرَّkharrahe had fallenمِنَminafromالسَّمَٓاءِl-samāithe skyفَتَخْطَفُهُfatakhṭafuhuand (had) snatched himالطَّيْرُl-ṭayruthe birdsاَوْaworتَهْو۪يtahwīhad blownبِهِbihihimالرّ۪يحُl-rīḥuthe windف۪يfītoمَكَانٍmakānina placeسَح۪يقٍsaḥīqinfar offMonotheists to God, not setting up anything with Him. Whosoever sets up partners with God, then it is as if he has fallen from the sky and the birds snatch him or the wind takes him to a place far off.
