Surah 24 · Verse 12

لَوْلَٓاlawlāWhy notاِذْidhwhenسَمِعْتُمُوهُsamiʿ'tumūhuyou heard itظَنَّẓannathinkالْمُؤْمِنُونَl-mu'minūnathe believing menوَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُwal-mu'minātuand the believing womenبِاَنْفُسِهِمْbi-anfusihimgood of themselvesخَيْراًۙkhayrangood of themselvesوَقَالُواwaqālūand sayهٰذَٓاhādhāThisاِفْكٌif'kun(is) a lieمُب۪ينٌmubīnunclear
