Surah 24 · Verse 14

وَلَوْلَاwalawlāAnd if notفَضْلُfaḍlu(for the) Graceاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahعَلَيْكُمْʿalaykumupon youوَرَحْمَتُهُwaraḥmatuhuand His Mercyفِيfīinالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yāthe worldوَالْاٰخِرَةِwal-ākhiratiand the Hereafterلَمَسَّكُمْlamassakumsurely would have touched youف۪يfīinمَٓاmāwhatاَفَضْتُمْafaḍtumyou had rushed gliblyف۪يهِfīhiconcerning itعَذَابٌʿadhābuna punishmentعَظ۪يمٌۚʿaẓīmungreat
