Surah 24 · Verse 55

وَعَدَwaʿadaAllah (has) promisedاللّٰهُl-lahuAllah (has) promisedالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoاٰمَنُواāmanūbelieveمِنْكُمْminkumamong youوَعَمِلُواwaʿamilūand doالصَّالِحَاتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deedsلَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْlayastakhlifannahumsurely He will grant them successionفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthكَمَاkamāasاسْتَخْلَفَis'takhlafaHe gave successionالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnato those whoمِنْmin(were) before themقَبْلِهِمْۖqablihim(were) before themوَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّwalayumakkinannaand that He will surely establishلَهُمْlahumfor themد۪ينَهُمُdīnahumutheir religionالَّذِيalladhīwhichارْتَضٰىir'taḍāHe has approvedلَهُمْlahumfor themوَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْwalayubaddilannahumand surely He will change for themمِنْminafterبَعْدِbaʿdiafterخَوْفِهِمْkhawfihimtheir fearاَمْناًۜamnansecurityيَعْبُدُونَن۪يyaʿbudūnanī(for) they worship Meلَاlānotيُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnathey associateب۪يbīwith MeشَيْـٔاًۜshayananythingوَمَنْwamanBut whoeverكَفَرَkafaradisbelievedبَعْدَbaʿdaafterذٰلِكَdhālikathatفَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَfa-ulāikathen thoseهُمُhumu[they]الْفَاسِقُونَl-fāsiqūna(are) the defiantly disobedient
