Surah 24 · Verse 8

وَيَدْرَؤُ۬اwayadra-uBut it would preventعَنْهَاʿanhāfrom herالْعَذَابَl-ʿadhābathe punishmentاَنْanthatتَشْهَدَtashhadashe bears witnessاَرْبَعَarbaʿafourشَهَادَاتٍshahādātintestimoniesبِاللّٰهِۙbil-lahiby Allahاِنَّهُinnahuthat heلَمِنَlamina(is) surely ofالْكَاذِب۪ينَۙl-kādhibīnathe liars
