Surah 27 · Verse 24

وَجَدْتُهَاwajadttuhāAnd I found herوَقَوْمَهَاwaqawmahāand her peopleيَسْجُدُونَyasjudūnaprostratingلِلشَّمْسِlilshamsito the sunمِنْmininstead of Allahدُونِdūniinstead of Allahاللّٰهِl-lahiinstead of Allahوَزَيَّنَwazayyanaand has made fair-seemingلَهُمُlahumuto themالشَّيْطَانُl-shayṭānuthe Shaitaanاَعْمَالَهُمْaʿmālahumtheir deedsفَصَدَّهُمْfaṣaddahumand averted themعَنِʿanifromالسَّب۪يلِl-sabīlithe Wayفَهُمْfahumso theyلَاlā(are) notيَهْتَدُونَۙyahtadūnaguided
