وَلَمَّٓاwalammāAnd whenاَنْan[that]جَٓاءَتْjāatcameرُسُلُنَاrusulunāOur messengersلُـوطاًlūṭan(to) Lutس۪ٓيءَsīahe was distressedبِهِمْbihimfor themوَضَـاقَwaḍāqaand felt straitenedبِهِمْbihimfor themذَرْعاًdharʿan(and) uneasyوَقَالُواwaqālūAnd they saidلَاlā(Do) notتَخَفْtakhaffearوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَحْزَنْ۠taḥzangrieveاِنَّاinnāIndeed, weمُنَجُّوكَmunajjūka(will) save youوَاَهْلَكَwa-ahlakaand your familyاِلَّاillāexceptامْرَاَتَكَim'ra-atakayour wifeكَانَتْkānatSheمِنَmina(is) ofالْغَابِر۪ينَl-ghābirīnathose who remain behindThus when Our messengers came to Lot, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed towards them. They said, "Do not fear, and do not be saddened. We will save you and your family, except for your wife; she is of those doomed."
