Surah 29 · Verse 40

فَكُلاًّfakullanSo eachاَخَذْنَاakhadhnāWe seizedبِذَنْبِه۪ۚbidhanbihifor his sinفَمِنْهُمْfamin'humThen of themمَنْman(was he) whoاَرْسَلْنَاarsalnāWe sentعَـلَيْهِʿalayhion himحَـاصِباًۚḥāṣibana violent stormوَمِنْهُمْwamin'humand of themمَنْman(was he) whoاَخَذَتْهُakhadhathuseized himالصَّيْحَةُۚl-ṣayḥatuthe awful cryوَمِنْهُمْwamin'humand of themمَنْman(was he) whoخَسَفْنَاkhasafnāWe caused to swallowبِهِbihihimالْاَرْضَۚl-arḍathe earthوَمِنْهُمْwamin'humand of themمَنْman(was he) whoاَغْرَقْنَاۚaghraqnāWe drownedوَمَاwamāAnd notكَانَkānawasاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahلِيَظْلِمَهُمْliyaẓlimahumto wrong themوَلٰكِنْwalākinbutكَانُٓواkānūthey wereاَنْفُسَهُمْanfusahumthemselvesيَظْلِمُونَyaẓlimūnadoing wrong
