وَمَاwamāAnd notكَانَkānaisلِنَفْسٍlinafsinfor a soulاَنْanthatتَمُوتَtamūtahe diesاِلَّاillāexceptبِاِذْنِbi-idh'niby (the) permissionاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahكِتَاباًkitāban(at a) decreeمُؤَجَّلاًۜmu-ajjalandeterminedوَمَنْwamanAnd whoeverيُرِدْyuriddesiresثَوَابَthawābarewardالدُّنْيَاl-dun'yā(of) the worldنُؤْتِه۪nu'tihiWe will give himمِنْهَاۚmin'hāthereofوَمَنْwamanand whoeverيُرِدْyuriddesiresثَوَابَthawābarewardالْاٰخِرَةِl-ākhirati(of) the Hereafterنُؤْتِه۪nu'tihiWe will give himمِنْهَاۜmin'hāthereofوَسَنَجْزِيwasanajzīAnd We will rewardالشَّاكِر۪ينَl-shākirīnathe grateful onesIt is not permitted for a person to die except by God's leave in an appointed record. Whoever wants the rewards of this world We give him of it, and whoever wants the reward of the Hereafter, We give him of it. We will reward the thankful.
