لَقَدْlaqadCertainlyمَنَّmannabestowed a Favorاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahعَلَىʿalāuponالْمُؤْمِن۪ينَl-mu'minīnathe believersاِذْidhasبَعَثَbaʿathaHe raisedف۪يهِمْfīhimamong themرَسُولاًrasūlana Messengerمِنْminfromاَنْفُسِهِمْanfusihimthemselvesيَتْلُواyatlūrecitingعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimto themاٰيَاتِه۪āyātihiHis Versesوَيُزَكّ۪يهِمْwayuzakkīhimand purifying themوَيُعَلِّمُهُمُwayuʿallimuhumuand teaching themالْكِتَابَl-kitābathe Bookوَالْحِكْمَةَۚwal-ḥik'mataand the wisdomوَاِنْwa-inalthoughكَانُواkānūthey wereمِنْminfromقَبْلُqablubefore (that)لَف۪يlafīcertainly inضَلَالٍḍalālin(the) errorمُب۪ينٍmubīninclearGod has bestowed favor upon those who acknowledge by sending them a messenger from amongst themselves reciting His signs, improving them and teaching them the book and the wisdom, though they were before in manifest confusion.
