وَاِذْwa-idhAnd whenاَخَذَakhadhatookاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahم۪يثَاقَmīthāqaa Covenantالَّذ۪ينَalladhīna(from) those whoاُو۫تُواūtūwere givenالْكِتَابَl-kitābathe BookلَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُlatubayyinunnahuYou certainly make it clearلِلنَّاسِlilnnāsito the mankindوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَكْتُمُونَهُۘtaktumūnahuconceal itفَنَبَذُوهُfanabadhūhuThen they threw itوَرَٓاءَwarāabehindظُهُورِهِمْẓuhūrihimtheir backsوَاشْتَرَوْاwa-ish'tarawand they exchangedبِه۪bihi[with] itثَمَناًthamanan(for) a priceقَل۪يلاًۜqalīlanlittleفَبِئْسَfabi'saAnd wretchedمَاmā(is) whatيَشْتَرُونَyashtarūnathey purchaseGod took the covenant of those who were given the book: "You will proclaim to the people and not conceal it." However, they threw it behind their backs and purchased with it a cheap price. Miserable indeed is what they have purchased.
