وَمِنْwaminAnd amongاٰيَاتِه۪āyātihiHis Signsيُر۪يكُمُyurīkumuHe shows youالْبَرْقَl-barqathe lightningخَوْفاًkhawfan(causing) fearوَطَمَعاًwaṭamaʿanand hopeوَيُنَزِّلُwayunazziluand He sends downمِنَminafromالسَّمَٓاءِl-samāithe skyمَٓاءًmāanwaterفَيُحْـي۪fayuḥ'yīand gives lifeبِهِbihitherewithالْاَرْضَl-arḍa(to) the earthبَعْدَbaʿdaafterمَوْتِهَاۜmawtihāits deathاِنَّinnaIndeedف۪يfīinذٰلِكَdhālikathatلَاٰيَاتٍlaāyātinsurely (are) Signsلِقَوْمٍliqawminfor a peopleيَعْقِلُونَyaʿqilūnawho use intellectFrom His signs is that He shows you the lightning, by way of fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky, and He revives the land with it after its death. In that are signs for a people who understand.
