Surah 30 · Verse 47

وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd verilyاَرْسَلْنَاarsalnāWe sentمِنْminbefore youقَبْلِكَqablikabefore youرُسُلاًrusulanMessengersاِلٰىilātoقَوْمِهِمْqawmihimtheir peopleفَجَٓاؤُ۫هُمْfajāūhumand they came to themبِالْبَيِّنَاتِbil-bayinātiwith clear proofsفَانْتَقَمْنَاfa-intaqamnāthen We took retributionمِنَminafromالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoاَجْرَمُواۜajramūcommitted crimesوَكَانَwakānaAnd it wasحَقاًّḥaqqanincumbentعَلَيْنَاʿalaynāupon Usنَصْرُnaṣru(to) helpالْمُؤْمِن۪ينَl-mu'minīnathe believers
