يَٓاyāOاَيُّهَاʾaayyuhāyou who believeالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnaO you who believeاٰمَنُٓواāmanūO you who believeاِذَاidhāWhenنَكَحْتُمُnakaḥtumuyou marryالْمُؤْمِنَاتِl-mu'minātibelieving womenثُمَّthummaand thenطَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّṭallaqtumūhunnadivorce themمِنْminbeforeقَبْلِqablibeforeاَنْan[that]تَمَسُّوهُنَّtamassūhunnayou have touched themفَمَاfamāthen notلَكُمْlakumfor youعَلَيْهِنَّʿalayhinnaon themمِنْminanyعِدَّةٍʿiddatinwaiting periodتَعْتَدُّونَهَاۚtaʿtaddūnahā(to) count concerning themفَمَتِّعُوهُنَّfamattiʿūhunnaSo provide for themوَسَرِّحُوهُنَّwasarriḥūhunnaand release themسَرَاحاًsarāḥan(with) a releaseجَم۪يلاًjamīlangoodO you who acknowledge, if you married the acknowledging women and then divorced them before having intercourse with them, then there is no interim required of them. You shall compensate them, and let them go in an amicable manner.
