وَلَاwalāAnd notتَنْفَعُtanfaʿubenefitsالشَّفَاعَةُl-shafāʿatuthe intercessionعِنْدَهُٓʿindahuwith Himاِلَّاillāexceptلِمَنْlimanfor (one) whomاَذِنَadhinaHe permitsلَهُۜlahufor himحَتّٰٓىḥattāUntilاِذَاidhāwhenفُزِّعَfuzziʿafear is removedعَنْʿanonقُلُوبِهِمْqulūbihimtheir heartsقَالُواqālūthey will sayمَاذَاۙmādhāWhat is thatقَالَqālayour Lord has saidرَبُّكُمْۜrabbukumyour Lord has saidقَالُواqālūThey will sayالْحَقَّۚl-ḥaqaThe truthوَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heالْعَلِيُّl-ʿaliyu(is) the Most Highالْكَب۪يرُl-kabīruthe Most GreatNor will intercession be of any help with Him, except for whom He has already given leave.
