Surah 35 · Verse 13

يُولِجُyūlijuHe causes to enterالَّيْلَal-laylathe nightفِيfīin (to)النَّهَارِl-nahārithe dayوَيُولِجُwayūlijuand He causes to enterالنَّهَارَl-nahārathe dayفِيfīin (to)الَّيْلِۙal-laylithe nightوَسَخَّرَwasakharaand He has subjectedالشَّمْسَl-shamsathe sunوَالْقَمَرَۘwal-qamaraand the moonكُلٌّkulluneachيَجْر۪يyajrīrunningلِاَجَلٍli-ajalinfor a termمُسَمًّىۜmusammanappointedذٰلِكُمُdhālikumuThat (is)اللّٰهُl-lahuAllahرَبُّكُمْrabbukumyour Lordلَهُlahufor Himالْمُلْكُۜl-mul'ku(is) the Dominionوَالَّذ۪ينَwa-alladhīnaAnd those whomتَدْعُونَtadʿūnayou invokeمِنْminbesides Himدُونِه۪dūnihibesides Himمَاmānotيَمْلِكُونَyamlikūnathey possessمِنْminevenقِطْم۪يرٍۜqiṭ'mīrin(as much as) the membrane of a date-seed
