Surah 35 · Verse 44

اَوَلَمْawalamHave they notيَس۪يرُواyasīrūtraveledفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe landفَيَنْظُرُواfayanẓurūand seenكَيْفَkayfahowكَانَkānawasعَاقِبَةُʿāqibatu(the) endالَّذ۪ينَalladhīna(of) those whoمِنْmin(were) before themقَبْلِهِمْqablihim(were) before themوَكَانُٓواwakānūAnd they wereاَشَدَّashaddastrongerمِنْهُمْmin'humthan themقُوَّةًۜquwwatan(in) powerوَمَاwamāBut notكَانَkānaisاللّٰهُl-lahuAllahلِيُعْجِزَهُliyuʿ'jizahuthat can escape (from) Himمِنْminanyشَيْءٍshayinthingفِيfīinالسَّمٰوَاتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَلَاwalāand notفِيfīinالْاَرْضِۜl-arḍithe earthاِنَّهُinnahuIndeed, Heكَانَkānaisعَل۪يماًʿalīmanAll-Knowerقَد۪يراًqadīranAll-Powerful
