Surah 35 · Verse 8

اَفَمَنْafamanThen is (he) whoزُيِّنَzuyyinais made fair-seemingلَهُlahuto himسُٓوءُsūu(the) evilعَمَلِه۪ʿamalihi(of) his deedفَرَاٰهُfaraāhuso that he sees itحَسَناًۜḥasanan(as) goodفَاِنَّfa-innaFor indeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahيُضِلُّyuḍillulets go astrayمَنْmanwhomيَشَٓاءُyashāuHe willsوَيَهْد۪يwayahdīand guidesمَنْmanwhomيَشَٓاءُۘyashāuHe willsفَلَاfalāSo (let) notتَذْهَبْtadhhabgo outنَفْسُكَnafsukayour soulعَلَيْهِمْʿalayhimfor themحَسَرَاتٍۜḥasarātin(in) regretsاِنَّinnaIndeedاللّٰهَl-lahaAllahعَل۪يمٌʿalīmun(is) All-Knowerبِمَاbimāof whatيَصْنَعُونَyaṣnaʿūnathey do
