Surah 38 · Verse 26

يَادَاوُ۫دُاِنَّاinnāIndeed, Weجَعَلْنَاكَjaʿalnāka[We] have made youخَل۪يفَةًkhalīfatana vicegerentفِيfīinالْاَرْضِl-arḍithe earthفَاحْكُمْfa-uḥ'kumso judgeبَيْنَbaynabetweenالنَّاسِl-nāsi[the] menبِالْحَقِّbil-ḥaqiin truthوَلَاwalāand (do) notتَتَّبِعِtattabiʿifollowالْهَوٰىl-hawāthe desireفَيُضِلَّكَfayuḍillakafor it will lead you astrayعَنْʿanfromسَب۪يلِsabīli(the) wayاللّٰهِۜl-lahi(of) AllahاِنَّinnaIndeedالَّذ۪ينَalladhīnathose whoيَضِلُّونَyaḍillūnago astrayعَنْʿanfromسَب۪يلِsabīli(the) wayاللّٰهِl-lahi(of) Allahلَهُمْlahumfor themعَذَابٌʿadhābun(is) a punishmentشَد۪يدٌshadīdunsevereبِمَاbimābecauseنَسُواnasūthey forgotيَوْمَyawma(the) Dayالْحِسَابِ۟l-ḥisābi(of) Account
