Surah 39 · Verse 5

خَلَقَkhalaqaHe createdالسَّمٰوَاتِl-samāwātithe heavensوَالْاَرْضَwal-arḍaand the earthبِالْحَقِّۚbil-ḥaqiin [the] truthيُكَوِّرُyukawwiruHe wrapsالَّيْلَal-laylathe nightعَلَىʿalāoverالنَّهَارِl-nahārithe dayوَيُكَوِّرُwayukawwiruand wrapsالنَّهَارَl-nahārathe dayعَلَىʿalāoverالَّيْلِal-laylithe nightوَسَخَّرَwasakharaAnd He subjectedالشَّمْسَl-shamsathe sunوَالْقَمَرَۜwal-qamaraand the moonكُلٌّkulluneachيَجْر۪يyajrīrunningلِاَجَلٍli-ajalinfor a termمُسَمًّىۜmusammanspecifiedاَلَاalāUnquestionablyهُوَhuwaHeالْعَز۪يزُl-ʿazīzu(is) the All-Mightyالْغَفَّارُl-ghafāruthe Oft-Forgiving
